How should we choose capacity for an RV house battery?
Start with the daily energy use of onboard equipment, the required time away from charging, and the system voltage. Include inverter continuous and surge demand, available battery space and payload limits. Share these requirements with Robur to discuss a configuration; capacity alone does not establish appliance runtime or compatibility.
Can the battery work with solar and alternator charging?
Robur’s RV offering includes solar, alternator and fast-charging integration. Provide your solar controller, alternator charging equipment and other charger models, together with their charging settings. Confirm their compatibility with the selected pack before installation.
What should we specify for cold-weather use?
Tell us the lowest charging, operating and storage temperatures expected in your project. Ask for the selected pack’s permitted temperature range and protection behavior, and discuss any heating requirement during engineering evaluation.
Which documents should we request before approval?
Request a specification for the selected pack, including rated voltage, capacity, current limits, dimensions and charging conditions. Confirm the applicable test reports, transport documents and market requirements with our team. Document scope must match the battery configuration being purchased.
